Keep Fit with me Calorie Counting!

First of all sorry for the leave I was sick last week i was sick with an 103 fever and i`m still recovering. We lost our first volleyball match of the the season cos we played like really badly so i`m gonna be practicing a lot but anyways on to the topic:

Calorie counting
I`ve recently started doing this and I`ve been calculating the rough amount of calories I intake each day and limiting myself to not eat over a certain amount of calories. I used this site to calculate the rough amount of calories I need to intake per day with this site: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm
So for me :
I`m 14 years old,
I `m female
I`m 46 kg or about 101 pounds
I`m 161cm or about 5,3
I exercise 3 to 4 times a week depending but i entered 3
So the amount of calories I need are : 
1698 to maintain my current weight
1359 to loose weight
1019 to loose extra weight
I actually set my goal for each day to not go over 1450 calories so I can loose maybe a little bit of weight
So I also record the amount of calories i`ve burned each day. I get the rough calculation from this website

I`m hoping to maybe get a better body shape and thinner legs but other than that i`m pretty satisfied wih my own body :)

Plans and quick blog

Right haven`t posted all week bad me ... but just a bit of an update, I my drama competition was on the past Thursday it went really well!(well for me, some of my fellow actors and actresses wern`t at their best but that`s quite normal for a stage performance as we aren`t professionals) so overall I`m really proud of myself.
Before once i go on stage i wouldn`t really know it or why but naturally my heart beats faster I speak faster and forget this so i just naturally get nervous without wanting or noticing it.
I actually had heavy make up on as it was stage performers and the funny thing is i couldn`t remove the waterproof eyeliner (dunno why they would use waterproof) completely so i had to go to the next class with fainted eyeliner, luckily it din`t smudge.

Beauty Guru`s on Youtube

Today i`m going to tell you who i think are the best beauty guru`s on youtube!

1st
Macbarbie 07 aka Bethany Mota
She has so many helpful tutorials even though i do hope she does more hair tutorials (i don`t were make up all that much) and she has a very nice personality and very active. She`s also quite humorous to watch : )

2nd Stillababe 09 aka Meredith Foster
She also has a lot of useful tutorials and is much like Bethany however her style is a bit more me i guess. Bethany is very girly and Mere is a bit in the middle i guess? But i still love both of them!

She has very good talk topics and i really like her stories and stuff like that. And she also is

Clip In Colored Hair Extensions


I`ve always wanted to dye pink highlights into my hair however my school dosen`t allow dyeing hair what so ever so i recently went out and bought some colored clip in hair extensions so i`m going to show you how to put them in and cover up the clip fully without having the fake hair fall out
*BTW i used synthetic hair extensions because i don`t like the fact of wearing other peoples hair, it`s the same as wearing real leather why would you wear something that is from someone elses body? Also Synthetic is easier to manage with( I have a friend of my parents and she`s been doing extensions professionally for clients for ten years and she said that.)

 These are the extensions that i bought i got them for around 2-3 US dollars (I don`t live in the US unfortunately) They are hot pink and are around 15-16 inches (40 cm)

First i use a comb and gently comb out all the tangles in the extensions

 
Then part off an inch wide section of hair above where ever you want the highlights to be.


Then put the extensions in right at the roots, try to have the clip grab on to as many hairs as possible.



Once it`s in it should look like this.



Then you can let the hair down and cover it up. It will cover up most of the pink now but we can fix that.



Comb out your hair (Don`t comb the roots!) and play with it until you get the desired look. Then Voila! you have pink highlights!
















You can also braid it, it will add a nice pop of color into your braid. I normally like to divide the pink hair into at least to of the strands in the 3 stranded braid to make it more spread out.







 You can also achieve highlights by using chalk, simply just wet your hair and use the chalk to color your hair.(Don`t over wet) Or if you have some cheap or old eye-shadows  you can press your hair against the pressed powder shadow and slide it to the ends while pressing against the hair. You can easily brush or comb the color out or just simply wash your hair, they won`t damage your hair as the pigment is only sitting on the out side of your hair. However hair chalk may not let you achieve a bright color if you have dark hair.

Fitness- Eating

Eating is something most of us like to do, and what tastes good on our tongue is not always the best for our body. Then you may think about dieting to keep a healthy weight or slim down. However our body needs food for energy also as a 14 year old myself in puberty, dieting may limit my growth, especially in height. 
Sweets are one of our biggest enemies when it comes to healthy eating. These sweet treats are delicious but are often high in sugar which has a lot of calories. You don`t have to totally give up on them but limiting your self is a must.
Oily and greasy foods are also bad for your health and is also quite fattening eating them at parties are acceptable for me but i would never eat them everyday as an afternoon snack.



Some people would like to go low carb but for myself i could never do that because i eat rice everyday and it is very important for me. I`m not saying that you should stick to carbs but i just do so. I don`t find carbs fattening as some people say nor do they make me gain weight a lot but i do do a lot of intense exercise that helps burn it off (I`m 5'3 (160cm) and weigh 103 (47kg)  pounds ). 

Right now i have started a food diary to help me keep track of the calories i`ve consumed in the day to help stay fit and not gain any excess weight or fat but still enough to keep the muscles. It really helps. 
Water is also essential for keeping ourselves hydrated. I have a bad habit of not drinking enough water so the food diary also helped me.

Fruit and Vegis are also very important for a healthy and balanced diet eating more will ensure you have enough vitamins. Tomatoes, Carrots, greens are all very good for the body and for fruit apples, bananas and berries are my favorite. 

Last of all don`t try to put of extra weight. Don`t think that you are heavy it may be because of poportion. if you are tall then you will obviously weigh more BMI is something that can tell you if you are overweight for your height. My BMI is 18.4 so i`m normal for my age.
BMI Categories:
  • Underweight = <18.5
  • Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
  • Overweight = 25–29.9
  • Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

FRIDAY FAVS-All time Movie fav

FRIDAY FAVS-All time Movie fav
I actually kinda mentioned it in yesterday`s book fav. So i`m a 14 year old who has been in love with this movie ever scince they came out in 2006. i have watched it who knows millions of times i love the songs. *DRUM ROLL* 
It`s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!
Girl i you haven`t watched it before, you missed out on childhood. I`m 14 i heart it judge me, I DON`T CARE! It`s just a really good series maybe sometimes a bit cheesy but it`s cute and ZAC EFRON~~~ It`s just so good. The songs are really nice the dances are really cool and it just motivated me a lot with my own dreams.
I personally like the third movie the best especially the A night to remember scene. The dancing was a whole new level and the song was a really nice
Overall it`s a really great movie/ musical everyone should at least watch it once. Maybe disney will remake it? Who knows.

It`s quite a decent movie and quite amusing.

That`s actually it cos i`m not much of a movie person. I really like long stories and 2 hour movies just aren`t enough for me haha. ( ok thats actually not funny) So these are just some of my favs and i also really like the harry potter series. (typical me) So that`s it for now.

Book Recommends - Valentines edition

Book Recommends - Valentines edition
I decided to post today as i`m on holiday. These days have been real busy so i`m really sorry for not posting. So i`m going to reveiw some books!!

First is * Drum roll* The GGH series by Ally Carter


I read the series quite a while ago but i still like to re-read it when i`m free. It is full of adventure and mystery. You can hardly guess whats going to happen. I personally like long stories and books in series also adventure and romance is much to my liking.
Cammie Morgan attends a school for the not so normal she is known as the girl who no one see`s. But at her school it`s considered the cool. Her school is a school for spies. One night she gets spotted on a mission by someone who dosen`t know whats inside the walls of the school. Slowly she starts meeting him secretly all leading to one thing in the end- getting her heart broken.
That is my summary for the first book but I like the second book much better because the guy she meets stays instead of like in the first book the guys she met is only main in that book. (I`m not sure you understand but i don`t know how to say it).

The next series i haven`t finished yet but i like it enough to say it hear. It`s actually my first SCI-Fic
It`s: Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
It`s really addicting. I don`t have much to say on it but tell me what you think of it I`m reading pretties but at some point i don`t really understand the book.

Now time for one that has a movie:
THE LUCKY ONE!! by Nicholas Sparks!!

Oh My God. I was so addicted to this book i finished in like 2 or 3 days ( i Forgot). It was so good. At first i only watched the movie because it had Zac Efron( Typical Me) Then i liked the story a lot and went searching for the book. It`s just the best romance novel ever.( Nicholas and his amazing abilities to make a girl cry~) I really recommend this book and the movie( duhh~) So read it!! <3 <3
OK last book
Peace love and Baby ducks by Lauren Myracle
I bought this book like years ago when i went to buy the HSM ( I Know i`m 14 and i love HSM) books but i never wanted to read. ( My dad actually made me buy it haaha) It`s actually quite a good book. Thumbs up for it and i really like the ombre tank top on the cover just sayin you know.
